The PetBloom Club was born in 2019, right before the pandemic. Mark, the owner of the company, realized that besides his love for his dog, he had a newfound love for house plants and how to care for them. After realizing that, much like him, his friends and neighbors couldn’t find a store that could provide plants that were pet-friendly alternatives, PetBloom Club started to take shape in his mind.
Targeted for millennials that love their pets but also want to embark on plant parenthood, PetBloom Club is a warm, inviting, and caring brand.
We developed the concept for this project, designing its complete identity. We drove inspiration from Mike’s dog for the logo and created several versions to ensure it stayed dynamic.
Our goal was to distinguish this brand from other plant shops or communities that don’t necessarily put pets at the fore-center. The color palette is mainly composed of green shades with hints of blue, beige, and yellow for contrast and pops of color.
Packaging & collaterals
Having a plant shop that hosts gatherings means that customers have to transport plants home. Secondly, some plants might need to be shipped in all safety.
As a result, we designed several box options and created plant warnings illustrations to be stamped on the boxes. The wrapping paper with a custom pattern also became a must when protecting packages.

Other than the packaging, the remaining collaterals needed to communicate PetBloom’s identity clearly, inviting everyone that wanted to join in on the fun. As a result, the aprons, the storefront, and even the transport vehicle showcase the brand’s logo in one of the several representations.
Website
Websites are important touchpoints for e-commerce businesses that want to grow sales while, at the same time, providing added value.
So besides using social media marketing to reach out to potential clients and grow an online community, we also opted for creating a website. It aggregates plant purchasing, online guides on how to take care of each plant specimen, and the option to enroll in workshops in a single place.
By maintaining its color palette and combining it with custom-made graphics and copy, the brand stands out within the plant lovers' society.
Social media marketing
Social media plays an important role in today's digital brand presence, especially in establishing and growing online and offline communities.
Since The PetBloom Club falls under this category, we wanted to create a mixture of posts from behind the scenes and content-generated images. Our long-term strategy is to make sure the brand remains inviting, fun, and synonym of good times spent with plants and pets.
Curated photography, meaningful quotes, and vibrant announcements establish a dynamic identity and differentiation from other plant businesses. At the same time, the combination of these elements mixed with new ones produced by the community members will ensure that the profile evolves and grows at the same pace as its supporters.
